Introduction
Dr. Takashi Togami, CEO of Greein Inc., served as a guest lecturer for the "Career Experience Practicum (CEP)" at Tokyo International University (TIU).
Innovative Ideas to Address Agricultural Challenges in Asia via "e-kakashi"
In this course, students developed business model proposals aimed at solving agricultural and economic issues, specifically targeting selected Asian countries using our AI-based agricultural solution, "e-kakashi". Teams of six students analyzed their chosen countries and presented innovative frameworks, such as optimizing supply chains with major logistics firms and adapting "e-kakashi" software for drones to survey rice paddies—ideas born from the creative freedom of an academic setting.
Pursuing Economic Feasibility from a Practical Perspective
The proposals went beyond mere concepts, deeply exploring economic feasibility applicable to the real world, including stakeholder benefits and funding challenges. Dr. Togami highly praised the students' thought processes, noting that the new insights gained regarding these Asian countries would serve as valuable inspiration for Greein’s future global expansion.
Contributing to the Next Generation of Global Talent
Although the project was challenging, the students felt a great sense of accomplishment in producing realistic and feasible proposals. Greein Inc. will continue to support educational institutions and contribute to developing the next generation of leaders in science-based agriculture.
Looking Ahead
Agricultural challenges are universal. The initiative at TIU reaffirmed the immense potential of "e-kakashi" to solve these issues across borders. Greein will leverage these insights to support data-driven agriculture in education while fostering global talent for a sustainable future.
